is it worth starting one? get a comprohensive lists of upcoming things that people could attend? maybe tag by location as well?

Historically we've tried to keep events on the forums. There's not that many, and let's face it, a lot of them aren't very good. Once you have something like that, it instantly becomes a target for spam as well. So I'd personally be against it, but see what other people say.

Yeah im against it, and stick with the forums. Because i have seen too many 'protest calendar' type things which are just full of shit spammed stuff from crazy people.

yeah, people hardly use the events/announcements forum as it is, and it'd be a bugger to do a global calendar thing.

We used InterOccupy calendar for a couple years.
Had pretty good luck with it, but of course the work was done by them not us.
Lately it seems disabled.
If anyone knows of a good calendar we could use...
