Yes, unfortunately those are both problems with the site. The second is an intermittent problem, or which has the above workaround.
The search is broken at the moment as well, but we are looking into it. In the meantime you can search the site using Google. Apologies everyone

Why does the 'next page' button never work? I can only ever see topics listed on the first page. (However on the individual threads it does work. )

this is an intermittent problem, which we've tried to fix but so far been unable to. You can use a workaround, however which is to right click the "next page" link and click "copy shortcut", then paste that in the address bar.
We hope the issue will be resolved when we upgrade
So, listen, I don't know if this is the right place. I apologize if it isn't. I don't want to be "that guy," and I don't want anyone to take time they don't have to fix this. I just want a little help. So please don't take this post the wrong way.
First, let me say I'm new here and have never posted articles/books here before this weekend. So naturally I had my share of confusion. I am trying to fix my mistakes, but the material I posted has remained pending moderation for two days now. I don't know if that is normal. I understand that I wrote a long thing, and moderators may want to read it to make sure it's appropriate. But my big issue is that I screwed up the order of the chapters. I believe I made the appropriate edits to fix it, but they aren't showing up. Maybe I did it wrong.
This is what I posted. I also posted a comment on the book explaining what I need fixed. I think, for the sake of moderation and ensuring the acceptability of this literature, it's best to have the chapters in the right order. Can someone please fix it? My changes aren't showing up, probably due to moderation. Just have a look at it and my comment on the main page explaining what got screwed up.

Our Streets, I'm not a mod, but my understanding is that once you have a certain number of posts on libcom you can approve your own changes to articles that you've posted. Can you see the pink box and the "list of revisions"?

Your postings have been fixed. Sometimes it can take a lil bit for revisions to be approved, as we have to do them one-by-one.

Formatting seems to be disabled for a news article, text appears unformatted. I select filtered HTML but it jumps from 'Input format' jumps to 'normal (all html escaped)' in the preview.
Adding html tags doesn't solve it, no luck with bbcode either.

are you still having this problem? As this isn't something anyone else has reported. If it is still a problem, don't use preview, just Save it and see if it looks okay. If it needs fixing, you can edit and fix. Let us know if this doesn't sort it

No longer encounter the problem. Maybe it was my browser or an extension setting.

I couldn't create a new topic in the forum, so I'm posting this here:
When I access libcom.org on Firefox or Chrome, I am led to http://libcom.org/ (the insecure HTTP site) by default. If I want to access the secure HTTPS site, I have to change it manually to https://libcom.org/. Obviously, manually typing in "https" doesn't require much effort, so it might not seem like a big deal, but having HTTP as the default can pose security risks. For example, when I was logging in a few minutes ago, I didn't notice I was on the HTTP site and was about to enter my username and password, which could then have been intercepted by a third party (e.g. my ISP). Is there any way you could configure the site to make HTTP automatically redirect to HTTPS?
On a somewhat related note, has libcom.org considered running an onion service? It would barely put any additional strain on servers and it would enable people to access the site more securely and anonymously.
I am having difficulty posting, it's rather frustrating.

I don’t like to criticise the admins, after all, they provide this site for us which no doubt requires a fair bit of effort, but this does seem a bit poor, I mean, I’ve seen an admin posting on the forums today. I don’t get it.
Colective decisions will take admins longer because they don't all live in the same time zones so communication takes time.
I doubt meerov would be a priority based on his posts, behaviour, political outlook, etc.
Surely they could at least acknowledge his communication?

I really hope that isn’t the reason, if so it would be a poor show indeed. I have openly challenged meerov on the forums and strongly disagree with some of his views but that doesn’t mean he isn’t worthy of the same treatment as anyone else.
Anyways, like I say, I hope you’re wrong about this.
We got an e-mail last night and responded to it within an hour or two I think, this was the first e-mail we got from meerov unless we missed one.
