Resistance to War Within the Military During The First World War

Hi guys, I'm interested in any online links you can provide about this. I have found some useful stuff by searching on here but I'm interested particularly in the British side and also regarding the Somme but any links or resources are handy and will be appreciated. I'm interested in anti-capitalist/revolutionary perspectives on the war and resistance to it, outside the army aswell, but mainly within. I've already found the Paul Mason piece (dealing with the German side), which has some useful links in the comments but I'm sure there was more on here.

This is a great pamphlet about mutinies in the British Army during World War I: https://libcom.org/library/mutinies-dave-lamb-solidarity

And this is a great article about more informal resistance to fighting on the front lines: https://libcom.org/history/why-blackadder-goes-forth%E2%80%99-could-have-been-lot-funnier

Forgot about this one: this is a good history of the anti-war movement in North London
https://libcom.org/history/dont-be-soldier-radical-anti-war-movement-north-london-1914-1918-ken-weller

in general we have quite a lot of stuff in our World War I archive: https://libcom.org/tags/world-war-i

one thing we don't have anything on which would be really good is on the mutinies in the French army. So if anyone knows any good texts please post them up to our history section!
